Despite its colored skin it is made mostly as a white wine, pale and intensely aromatic, with rose petal, citrus blossom, lychee and spice over crisp acidity, and a low alcohol that keeps it light on its feet. It also makes rosé, sparkling and the occasional skin-contact wine.
