Origin Story is an Extra Pale Ale brewed in special collaboration with Our Mutual Friend to celebrate Cerebral Brewing’s 10th Anniversary. We exist because OMF did it first; watching them build something special in 2012 inspired us to take the leap. Featuring El Dorado, Motueka, and Waimea hops, this beer offers sophisticated tasting notes of Key lime bar, Pinot Grigio, and bergamot. At 5.0% ABV, it is a celebratory toast to the friends who paved the way.
Food Pairings: This light and zesty XPA pairs nicely with the freshness of grilled shrimp tacos or ceviche, the citrusy acidity of the brew enhancing the delicate seafood flavors. The lime and bergamot notes also go well with a lemon meringue tart. For a savory option, try a fresh goat cheese (chèvre) and crostini.
