Refund policy

We do not offer refunds on any food or beverage product. In the event that a wine purchased from Denver Wine Merchant either online or in person is flawed by cork taint, oxidation, or heat damage we will offer store credit if we believe the wine to be flawed not by fault of the purchaser. A cork which breaks or crumbles is not a flaw unless the wine is also oxidized and/or tainted with TCA from a defective cork. We are not responsible for improper storage of the wine after purchasing.

Merchandise can be returned if unused for a full refund within 30 days of purchase.

To start a return on merchandise, you can contact us at steven@denverwinemerchant.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Beer and spirits are not eligible for return or replacement. 


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
