The Land

From the sun-soaked vineyards of Limoux AOP, in the foothills of the Pyrenees, this rosé reflects the energy of southern France. At elevations of 850–1,200 feet, warm days and cool nights preserve the wine’s crisp acidity, while the region’s limestone-clay soils enhance its minerality and freshness.

The Wine

A refreshing blend of Syrah (60%) and Malbec (40%), this rosé is as vibrant as its origins. Syrah brings juicy red berry flavors and a touch of spice, while Malbec adds depth, floral notes, and a hint of wild herbs. Expect a lively burst of strawberry, raspberry, and watermelon, balanced by crisp acidity and a refreshing, dry finish.

The People

Created by two friends with decades of global winemaking experience, Ami Ami embraces the French philosophy of great wine for everyday moments. Committed to sustainability, they swapped bottles for eco-friendly boxed wine, cutting carbon emissions by 50% while keeping wine fresh for six weeks. Their vineyards follow certified sustainable and organic farming practices, ensuring respect for both the land and the people who tend it.

Malbec may have originated in France—where it features in Bordeaux blends, thrives in Cahors, and even appears in parts of the Loire Valley—but it’s become synonymous with Argentinian wine culture. This grape typically delivers concentrated dark fruit flavors like blackberry and black plum, accented by a subtle peppery spice and delicate violet aromas. French Malbec tends to be more structured, while its Argentine counterpart emphasizes plush tannins and robust fruit. Across both Old World and New, Malbec captivates with its velvety depth and distinctive charm.

"Unknown" farming method indicates that the specific vineyard practices used to produce the wine have not yet been clearly identified or verified. Due to limited publicly available information, complexity of research, or lack of transparency from certain wineries, it can sometimes be challenging to accurately categorize each vineyard's farming practices. Our team is actively working to research and update our records to provide the most accurate information on every wine we offer. We understand the importance of transparency and sustainability and strive to categorize and communicate farming methods as quickly and comprehensively as possible.
