The Land
The Jezreel Nahalal is from the fertile Jezreel Valley in Israel, a region steeped in history and characterized by its Mediterranean climate. The valley’s rich loam and limestone soils, coupled with warm days and cool nights, offer the perfect conditions for cultivating grapes with intense flavors and vibrant acidity. Situated among the rolling hills of Galilee, this land imparts a unique character to the blend.
The Wine
This 2020 red blend masterfully combines Carignan, & Syrah, each variety selected to create a wine that resonates with the Israeli climate and palate. The wine opens with an inviting bouquet of dark berries, plum, and Mediterranean herbs, leading into a palate that unfolds with layers of ripe black fruit, subtle spices, and earthy undertones. The tannins are velvety yet structured, balanced by a lively acidity that keeps the wine fresh and dynamic. Aged in oak, the blend carries a delicate smokiness and a long, complex finish. With an alcohol content of 14.5%, the Jezreel Nahalal Red Blend is a bold, full-bodied wine that embodies both the richness of the region and the innovative spirit of Israeli winemaking.
