We’ve been honing in on a hop combination for Modern West that we're really proud of. It showcases Citra and Mosaic hops in the dry hop from Westwood Farms and Lakeside Ranches in Oregon. As summer approaches, we wanted to experiment with keeping the hop expression similar but bringing down the ABV for an all-day drinker. Modest West explodes with aromas of mango and juicy peaches, and is followed up by pineapple and white gummy bears on the palate. The reduction in malt from previous IPAs results in a drier and more accentuated bitterness, evident in the zesty grapefruit finish.
