What started out as a pig farm now makes some of the most profound wines in the New World, and especially Oregon. Brothers (Freres) bought the land back in ‘86 and moved their family from Colorado to the Pacific Northwest. The wines evolved into excellence after a period of discovery, after easing up on extraction in the mid-90s to showcase the style we know today. The wines are a tier above what most other wineries only hope to achieve, and are hella capable of aging for decades.
