Docta-Ron by Russian River Brewing Company was first conceptualized in May 2023 when renowned New Zealand hop breeder Dr. Ron Beatson visited the brewery to collaborate on their pilot system. Inspired by founder Vinnie Cilurzo’s passion for Nectaron—a unique and highly sought-after hop developed by Dr. Ron himself—this recipe places the varietal front and center. Complemented by other expressive New Zealand hops from Dr. Ron’s extensive breeding work, this IPA delivers a profoundly aromatic experience packed with vibrant tasting notes of intense passionfruit, sweet peach, and bright tropical citrus.
