Colorado Nights by Westbound & Down is the dark sibling to The Coloradan. This Mexican-Style Dark Lager is brewed with flaked maize, German malts, and German Hallertau hops, fermented with a south-of-the-border yeast strain. It pours with a deep hue but remains surprisingly crisp and clean, delivering malty-sweet flavors alongside toasty, light nutty, and cocoa notes. At 5.5% ABV, it offers a smooth, flavorful finish perfect for mountain evenings.
Food Pairings: This crisp and malty dark lager pairs nicely with the savory char of carne asada tacos or beef empanadas, the nutty and cocoa notes complementing the grilled meat.
