Nestled in the ancient village of Assarti in Barge, northwest Piemonte, Le Marie’s vineyards are set against the dramatic backdrop of Monte Viso and Monte Bracco, a region celebrated for its viticultural history since the Middle Ages. Sitting at an altitude of 400-450 meters, the estate’s 14 plots span 9.5 hectares, with some vines dating back to the 1930s, resilient survivors of WWII. The Wine
Blanc de Lissart is crafted entirely from Malvasia Moscata, a rare and distinctive clone of Malvasia that shines in this dry, aromatic expression. Handpicked and destemmed, the grapes undergo a cold maceration before fermentation and six months of aging in stainless steel tanks. The result is a wine of remarkable freshness and clarity. On the nose, it offers captivating aromas of orange blossom, white rose, peach, and a hint of sage. The palate is crisp and vibrant with notes of ripe citrus, stone fruits, and florals with a clean, dry finish.

Le Marie is a family-driven estate founded in 2000 by Valerio, with his wife Luigina and their children, Simona and Daniele, now poised to carry forward their family’s winemaking legacy.
