The Land
In the Uco Valley of Mendoza, Argentina, this wine finds its roots in one of the world’s most celebrated wine regions. Nestled at high altitudes, the single vineyard benefits from a unique microclimate—cool mountain nights and sun-soaked days—that shapes the intensity of the grapes. The mineral-rich soils and organic, biodynamic farming methods allow the vineyard’s natural vibrancy to emerge fully, capturing the raw essence of this pristine land.
The Wine
A blend of 60% Malbec and 40% Cabernet Franc, this wine reveals layers of complexity while staying true to its natural origins. Deep garnet in color, the wine greets you with ripe blackberry, black cherry, and plum, before unfurling earthy undertones of tar, rubber, and pencil lead. Fermented with native yeast and aged for 12 months in neutral French oak and concrete, the wine maintains its fresh, fruit-driven character, with the oak subtly softening the edges. Its structured tannins and full-bodied mouthfeel give way to a long, gripping finish.
