Quince Cider by Art + Science is a rare and distinct offering made from 100% foraged quince, a fruit that was once an old homestead standby. The juice was keeved in concrete and then aged and fermented in barrels for 10 months. Utilizing wild yeast and bottle fermentation, this cider is as weird as the fruit itself—floral and fruity, yet dry and interesting. At 7% ABV, it represents a renaissance of a forgotten fruit in limited quantities.
