The Land

From the high-altitude vineyards of Limoux AOP, in the foothills of the Pyrenees, this red blend captures the essence of southern France. The region’s warm Mediterranean days and cool mountain nights allow for slow, even ripening, preserving freshness while deepening flavor. The limestone-clay soils lend structure and elegance, making it an ideal terroir for Syrah and Malbec.

The Wine

A bold yet approachable blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Malbec, this red is rich in dark fruit flavors with a smooth, balanced finish. Syrah brings notes of blackberry, plum, and cracked pepper, while Malbec adds layers of raspberry, black cherry, and a touch of . Silky tannins and a fresh acidity make it versatile—perfect for a casual dinner or sipping on its own.

Malbec may have originated in France—where it features in Bordeaux blends, thrives in Cahors, and even appears in parts of the Loire Valley—but it’s become synonymous with Argentinian wine culture. This grape typically delivers concentrated dark fruit flavors like blackberry and black plum, accented by a subtle peppery spice and delicate violet aromas. French Malbec tends to be more structured, while its Argentine counterpart emphasizes plush tannins and robust fruit. Across both Old World and New, Malbec captivates with its velvety depth and distinctive charm.
