This semi-hard cheese, crafted in the heart of Normandy, France, offers a delightful balance of sweet and tangy flavors with a distinctive nutty note. Made from pasteurized cow's milk and aged for three months allowing the cheese to develop its characteristic flavor and texture. It has a firm yet fudgy consistency and a deep orange color, thanks to the addition of annatto, a natural dye extracted from the achiote tree. Enjoy Mimolette sliced on a cheese board, grated over salads or pasta dishes, or simply savored on its own. Its versatile flavor pairs well with red wines, strong ales, hoppy IPAs, apples, pears, or pickled vegetables.
