Fresh Coast by Second Dawn Brewing is a fresh-hopped West Coast IPA from this Aurora brewery, made with Mosaic and Strata picked at Roy Farms in Washington's Yakima Valley and rushed into the kettle undried. Fresh hops only exist for a few weeks each harvest, and they give a greener, juicier hop character than the pelletized version. Expect ripe berry and tropical fruit over a pungent, dank green edge, with a dry, crisp West Coast finish. Drink it cold and drink it soon; this is a harvest beer, not a cellar beer.
